Hooray! Finally, I managed to get my first glimpse at my car today and am picking it up on Christmas Eve (what a Christmas present to myself!)

When I went in at the weekend they told me that although it had been built for a week it was still in France and then on Tuesday I got a call to say that it was in the country.

It is GORGEOUS and even better they have changed the spec on the S model so that I also get now a leather gaitor with allluminum topped gear knob and also aluminum inside door handles.

I just can't wait until Tuesday now . . . . . !!!!!!

I am sure that I will drive it with the roof down no matter how cold it is! I am just interested to see how it drives now as I have only ever driven the 2 litre and this is the 1.6. Will keep you posted (perhaps without the pics!)

mines a 1.6

drives a treat, very solid, smooth, not as gokarty as me saxo vtr,but more refined.

and better on the juice than the 2.0

Apart from the leaks, naff handbrake and rotten driving position its a top car, that is until the temp gos above 5 and then its topless, even in the rain.
1.6 Agean with pearled alloys,spats,alloy hoops,ecosse vents,windstop,phone kit,cd changer and K&N filter.(thanx to Derek,Lyndon,Hert62)

Mine too. I was topless on Wed - 3 degrees but glorious sunshine, so hat and gloves on, heater on, windstop up, roof down. Fantastic, can't beat it :D
