Just got told that my car, which I was expecting next week had something wrong with it and therefore Peugeot had to re - order a replacement one which is to be expected in 2 - 3 weeks. I even had a VIN number and everything. Peugeot suck big time!!!

A well peeved Marco

Hang in there mate, your wait will soon be over... and then you can cruise with the roof down on a hot summer day!

And think of it this way: How much more angry would you have been if they'd given you the car knowing there was a problem and NOT told you?

i was going to say the same as alexls.

although it's fustrating needing to wait longer but at least they are being honest and sorting whatever the problem was straight away.

how would you feel if you had waited on your CC (20 weeks in my case), owned it for 79 days, saw 36 of them with the car at the dealer and the car faulty the other 43 days - then need to wait on a replacement.

there is always someone worse off than yourself

derek

p.s. stay positive

Thanks guys, the support is much appreciated.

Incidently I just found out what the problem was - the stupid fools made the car LEFT HAND DRIVE!!!. I mean how dull can you get?

So some lucky bugger who was expecting their lhd CC is going to get a nice early surprise as they have one which was supposed to be mine. But its like you huys say, hang in there - I just hope it is worth it

Yep you are right they aren't the brightest in the world now!

That is pretty stupid of them... make sure their stupidity doesn't cost you a long wait as they will need to build a whole new car..

Fingers crossed everything works out for you!

Apparently I have been placed on priority order (i.e 2 - 3 weeks). I will just have to wait and see.

Well trust me mate when you get your CC you'll love it most definately!.. I've had mine for almost 1 year! and its been a dream car!... everytime I take it out of the garage I have a smile on my face! Obviously its bigger when the roof is down and the sun is out!

The wait won't be too bad trust me!

What colour is it by the way?

glad you said what colour it is or I would have begun to suspect they were giving your car to Derek as his new one seems a very quick order

Marco,

I've actually got a picture of it under my profile in the CC owners section... Number 82! and for quick reference its Moonstone.. The reason why I didn't go for the blue was that I already had two previous cars which were blue! and the last one was a 206glx anyway!

Don't worry mate I'm sure you'll get your CC with plenty of sunshine to spare!.. I haven't taken my roof down since last year.. and that is when the CC really comes into its own!.

and the other happy ending - whoever receives Marco's left hand drive car shouldn't have the usual trauma and risk of bodged repairs after all (that is as long as they ordered a lhd !!!)

Fingers crossed that they really mean 2-3 weeks. I guess they had to tell you, as it's not really something they could hide from you!!
