Suppose this shouldnt really come under the styling section, but can anyone recommend the best security add ons for the cc.

Dont really want to replace the alarm so I was thinking about steering locks, handbrake locks, chains etc.....

Any recommendations???

1 240 live cable wired to the body work. preferably underneath so that they dont see it. also gives u the surpprise element.

It is also unfortunatly illegal. A big notice "Warning 240v" may help but it would still probably be illegal.

And the South Africans can have flame trowers and Texans are allowed to shoot someone fleeing with their property

Its not fair !!!!

yep and they can carry concealed handguns and don't have to check em it at places and they get very lariy on beer and the gun rack is a standard option on the pickups ....

You obvious not very careful about what type of bar you walk into

Didn't the abundance of leather and neatly trimmed moustaches and the lack of women give it away.

JD,
Recommend Disklok as an addition to the standard alarm. Its an unmissable visual deterrent + Thatcham approved . Why bother going to the hassle to nick a car with a Disklok when plenty of less “protectedâ€

Thought it was legal to put an electrick shock alarm on your car... as long as it didn't go above a certain current - it's the current not the voltage that gets ya (apparantly)

If anyone know's where to get one, let me know - don't want anyone touching my pride and joy!

It's the current that kills you, but it's the voltage that gets it through your body in the first place.

Your 9v PP (square) battery ain't going to harm you if you touch it with your fingers. Stick it on your tongue and it's a different story - apparently about 5 people die each year in the US by testing 9v batteries on their tongue...

i tried that square battery thing with the tongue... only gives you a lil bit of fizzle on the tongue... you dont die! And no I didnt try it coz i wanted to kill myself... it was ages ago! to test if the battery was dead or not!

Well obviously you didn't die, or you wouldn't be telling us about it. Believe it or not though, 4 or 5 people die in the US each year from testing them on their tongues.
