Custom box build

Im thinking of buying some bass and an amp for my car, 2x8" or 1x10", i was wondering how you would go about building a custom box which would fit underneath the roof fabric cordy thing. I was pretty crap at woodwork in school so any help would be appreciated.

yeah, that doesnt really help me on how to build it, what materials to use, etc

ok soz ... basically MDF / lots of wood glue and wood screws. carpet can be got at sextons / halfords or on the web, price varies alot.

but if you look at the pics theres a few pics of the box before carpetted so you should get an idea on construction .. Or i'm sure you could find someone to do it for you hint hint
