We are toying with the idea of selling our CC on return to the UK (obviously after the TP meet!)
I am not entirely sure what i can reasonably ask for it...anyone got any ideas?

Please can someone give me a "guideline"...:???:

Well, here goes:

Returning to Uk shortly from Germany,
Here in Germany i currently:
Pay no road tax
Get fuel using heavily subsidised fuel coupons (I pay roughly 1.65 pence a litre - yes, you read that right!!)
The weather in the UK is not half as good (I have a wife with an unnatural fear of cold)
My insurance will be a LOT more in the Uk
My new house doesn't come with a garage

All told, after doing my sums, i worked out it would cost £400+ per month to keep on the road. Money could be used better elsewhere.

We will more than likely stick with Pug and go for a 206 Diesel...

I understand now! That fuel price sure is good! I think another fuel crisis should occur see if we can get down to that price!

I dont have a garage either. But hey they are meant to be weather proof.

Yoiu will just have to clean it more often Greg if you leave it outside.

once a week should be enough. I used to be compltely nuts and clean one car I had TWICE a day

Hmm. Where did I go wrong? We've got 2 garages and does my CC go in there? Nope, lives on the drive. Kn@ckered camper in one, italian rust bucket bike in the other

i have a driveway without a garage. everyone says i should get one built but i don't see a need for it.

it was £4500 to get it built with the house so i didn't take them up on it, but my neighbour who has 2 cars has just finished building one and what do they do - keep the cars outside - still :???:

That's what I said Paul, a camper and an Italian rust-bucket bike! Oh and a space-saver-rim... and a microwave... but the dishwasher went down the dump

Derek,
How did you get a qute like that. I have been quoted £25,000 for a double garage and I would have to arrange planning permission and have the base laid.
