Kirk, I've gone with the silver - loved the black demo I drove but black with black leather I thought was a bit too much and having had a black car before know what it's like to keep clean.
Something worth considering. One option I had was to take Aegean Blue with cloth and then have leather fitted here. I guess this is always an after market option if you want leather, but I preferred to get factory fitted.
Re what to look for re the new spec. First of all it should be October 2002 build date (or later). There are a number of items which I have had confirmed with Peugeot Australia. I have a copy of the e-mail at home so will send to you or post here this evening.
Getting close - can't believe it!!!!!!
Cheers

It is indeed! Tonight I'll send a copy of the e-mail from Peugeot so you know all the goodies that you'll be getting!
Isn't this exciting!
Mind you, my dealer said that it could take a little more than 2 weeks. His experience with Peugeot is they can be a little slow getting them out, so be prepared. Whatever the case they're on the way! yahoooooooo

Dear Mr.Frost,
From the October build and onwards 206 cc had a model year change to Model Year 2002.
These changes for the 2.0 litre version included Multiplexing technology and therefore includes the following new features:
Auto headlights
Auto front wipers
Factory fitted Clarion CD stereo with 6 speakers
New stereo control stalk
Hazard lights operate under emergency braking
Smart airbags which regulate the pressure of deploiment depending on the
severeity of frontal impact.
New rolling code immobiliser
The vehicles with these changes arrived in Australia in late December/early January.
However we did have some vehicles prior to October build which did not have the above features (Model year 2001) and they were from September production.
Kind Regards
Peugeot Automobiles Australia
I'm going to be working with Rob and Lydon to start registration of Oz owners so we can get a global data base together for the purpose of banding together to sing the praises or get action (don't you love consumer groups!!!). I've made Peugeot Australia aware that I'm doing this and stated that it's being done in the interests of Peugeot enthusiasm, promotion of the Peugeot Marque and customer satisfaction.
I encourage you to make your dealer aware of this and if he likes the idea to spread the word. By all means give my e-mail as a contact - sjfrost@optushome.com.au
I don't know when I'm going to get a chance to get a website of my own up and running and hope that I can find a way of filling the void in the interim with Lydon and Rob - but rest assured "CC Owners Australia" is about to happen. Would love to think that you and I can work on this together. Can't wait for our first "CC Meet"
Cheers for now (how many sleeps left????? Doubt if I will tonight)

Hey Frosty, what colour cloth does the aegean have. Just thought that if your dealer has a silver leather and a blue cloth that depending on colour of cloth the interiors could be swapped over before anyone takes delivery. That way you get the car you wanted all along.
As for an Oz web site and forum, how about just keep using the same one. That way we all get to see the same info and we dont duplicate things or miss anything important or exciting. I have noticed that the Germans have several groups each with their own web sites and forums and the same questions are asked on each one by different people. If thats the result in one country, what would it be like across the globe ?

Rob, you are indeed lateral in thinking, but not knowing what the trims are for a change over from cloth to leather, I decided to accept the factory delivered silver (mind you I'm still hopeful that after all my correspondence today they'll suddenly fin one not unloaded yet from the ship!)
Check your mail, I've sent you a lengthier response and copied to my dealer and Peugeot Australia.
Global web site - absolutely! I don't think anyone could come close to what Lyndon has put together, and why bother, it's brilliant! If we can use this web space to accommodate Aussies and anyone else; that's the way to go.
In the mail message you'll see that I'm in touch with Peugeot Australia and my dealer. I've provided an open invitation to come here and exchange ideas. To use your term "professional(ism)" that's what this web space says to the world. I've mentioned this to Peugeot Australia many times and in discussion they have acknowledged that they are aware of the site. I have created some attention here and my objective is to see them come her and work with us in this space, and better still promote it to existing and prospective owners.
Read my mail and let's take it from there. We've got a great thing going here and I can't wait to make it happen
By the way, when we do make it happen can Kirk and I have big stars like you? We're going to be the equivalent of you and Lyndon "down under"
Cheers for now

Lyndon, quite serious about this and don't expect you to pick up the cost. If there's any way that I can make good on additional server space cost I'll be most happy to.
By the way, got my first registered owner in Australia (Rob has a copy of my e-mail) - the word is out!!!!! Is there anything you can do (simply) on the site to direct Aussie owners to me for owner registration?
Cheers mate
