tonight i got a 2 cans of brake cleaner as it is supposed to help squealing brakes.
don't know how long it will last but i sprayed it on tonight and the squealing has stopped for the time being.
guess it will be £2-3 in the shops. i paid £1.09 +VAT as i got it from a wholesaler.
