nothing wrong with hubcaps in general as this is my first car with alloys - but on a CC ??? no no no no no

when i was deciding S or SE alloys was one of the things that attracted me to the SE as i would have had to buy alloys with the S as there was no way i would drive a car like that with hubcaps.

Well it makes perfect sense to me!

When God made the world there was good an evil.

When Peugeot made the CC there was alloys an hubcaps.

Humm ... the alloys are an optional extra on the S version @ 300 UKP.

Alloys are bad news when you have a love affair with the kerb, like I have been known to do in the past.

Wish me luck with my Alloys

Hubcaps are a cheaper alternative than aftermarket alloys when you have such an affinity with the kerb.

I have got "hubcaps" on my CC and they are scratched! No point getting expensive alloys when hubby scrapes the kerb too often! Also didn't like the nasty alloys on the 1.6 and think the wheel trims look better than those. Also wanted leather seats more than alloys and couldn't afford to rush to both. BUT AT LEAST I HAVE GOT A CC! Better to have a CC without alloys than NO CC AT ALL!!!!!!

Yeah very true Burge, but its peugeots fault for selling the car without alloys as standard, which was pathetic on their part.

I got the 16" alloys with my 1.6 (which have had a few disagreements with the kerb :'( ) but they gonna be changed when the warranty runs out for some nice 18"s

Well I think those alloys for Pugs are badly designed anyway cos they've a rim that potrudes further than the tyre, allowing them to become easily curbed.

Just look at the difference with merc alloys, they have no rim and are slightly inset from the tyre so its almost impossible to curb them.

Peugeot take note !

i would rather have the wheel trims than a set of optional 1.6 alloys. 15's are too small and the 1.6 wheel trims are actually 16" in diameter, so look bigger.
