Went and looked at a 206CC in a dealer's today. Our kids fit in the back (just) and seem keen on it, and the boot space looks surprisingly large with the roof up. With the roof down it's not too bad either.

We're taking wifey's Saxo there next week for an assessment on PX value.

They're currently doing a "special edition" in black or silver with the black/red leather interior. The trouble is the only thing I can see that's 'special edition' about it is that it's got the boot rack (that you can buy separately anyway).

Dont want to get you away from bying it, but have to say that driving with children in the backseat is not only easy...
When the roof is down its blowing so much that my daughter at five is complaining and dont find any fun with driving topless if we are driving for a while or drive to fast (faster then 60 km/h) My brothers daughter at seven is also complaining about the same thing...
So it didnt became as I hoped.. a lucky family driving around with the roof down... too Windy!!! I guess it would bee a bit bether if the temp raises 15 or 20 degrees.. :-)
It more become like this... father driving hapily alone around in the cc but if all three of us is out driving then wee choose the other family car.
My daughter loves driving the cc if she can sit in the front seat tough.. :-)
So my conclution is that the cc is the perfect number two car for families...

That's just how it is for us. Apart from the morning school run, I mostly have the car to myself. Serious luggage carrying or distances with the family is all done in the Scenic. Hence the unfortunate scene a few weeks ago when we were all heading up the M1 with a blue CC on each side of us and mine was sitting in the driveway at home. I was gutted!

Not a problem -- Tara only needs to take the kids on the school run in the CC. If she wants to go further with them (like to Lakeside or something
