Baby car seat

Good morning,

Thank you in advance for any replies.

I have a Peugeot 206cc and I'm having a baby soon.

I don't want to buy another car so can anyone recommend me a baby seat for my 206cc?

Hopefully I would like to buy a car seat that fits in a baby carrier to walking the baby on the street? So I could buy a baby carrier plus a car seat for the baby in one go?

The new laws on infant car seats and fittings are quite daunting. Page 67 of the 206cc owners handbook gives a couple of samples that you could chose from, however, bearing in mind how old my handbook is, I think you need to find better up-to-date information. Try asking your insurance company which manufacturer they would recommend, or the AA. Mumsnet.com have some advice too.
Its a far cry from the days when we just lobbed the carrycot onto the back seats!

The ones I've seen need a boot the size of a small house!!! Even if the car seat fitted the carrier wouldn't ...
