OK complicates matters a bit!

If the back of the lamp is a larger rubber gasket with a connector through the middle, it is a SINGLE H4 bulb. The headlamp glass is also "lined" and not clear like the other type.

If the back of the lamp has a large hard plastic cover, the connector is a plug=in type to the headlamp body and the "glass" is clear, then TWO H7 bulbs ..

Wonder if this is why CapnCol keeps asking people to quote what CAR, etc in threads! (I'm now officially a part-time member as we don't have a CC anymore ... I think I might be spending more time on the Renault forums if the Clio plays up like it has done recently!! :) What is it about French cars .. )

We've switched to VWs now. Our old 206cc is round the corner now as a friend of my daughter's bought it. She loves it and it is still well looked after.

I've had Renaults too. The electrics were always playing up. The plastic components inside proved very fragile too. Good engines though.
