Trying To Track Down My Old Car

Post by HelenJ »

Hi everyone,

I used to be a serious lurker here and posted a couple of times too. I've been CC free for a while now though :(

Very recently my Dad has bought an MGF as a second car to play with and it has set me thinking that I'm now in a place to have a toy car myself.

I had to give up my 206CC in 2012 due to not having enough money to fix it up properly after a bump. I was completely gutted - I'd had it for nearly 5 years and I still miss it 4 years later!

I thought this might be a good place to start in attempting to track it down, as if it's possible I'd love to buy it back! Even if not, just to find out what happened to it would be nice.

It's a 2004 China Blue 1.6 Allure, reg SH54 HOA. I know that its MOT expired in the middle of July and its tax ran out at the end of July. This doesn't sound promising, but it might just be sitting on someone's drive...

I'm not holding my breath and know this is a long shot, but I've nothing to lose by trying! If anyone's seen it around, or even owned it I'd love to hear from you!

Thanks, I thought that it was likely it had been scrapped when I saw it wasn't taxed or tested. Feel a bit sad now, how silly!
