#1 Fix the leak
#2 Top up oil after leak fixed
#3 Test system, if it doesn't work, then further action needed
You must fix the leak first, If you persist in messing about with it before that is done, then you will lock up the ecu (unless you have already done so)

I feel really stupid but what is " then you will lock up the ecu" what is the ecu?

could i use anything else , any hydraulic oil at all i can get hold of up to VG400
would that work?
