Re: Short journeys
If you are not loosing coolant don't worry.
It will be a combination of condensate (water) in the exhaust, and condensate in the engine being *boiled off* as the oil heats up. Try and do a long hard run every so often and change the oil at least yearly

I suffered the "Turkish bath" exhaust for a year. In a last desperate fix, I fitted a ram air induction system. No problem since.

Re: Short journeys
Cheaper and simpler to give the car an "Italian Tune-Up" occasionally ...
And probably more fun too!

Re: Short journeys
I changed my 206cc oil today. The canister I thought would be metal, was worried the hexagon would snap off. Needs a 24mm socket, same as the drain plug and a long extension bar for me as the only 3/4 ratchet I have is the torque wrench.

Re: Short journeys
The Italian Tune-up is quite effective, as is sitting in a car park getting the CAT up to temperature. My racing days are well past, and (at least for me) there are better places to spend time than tearing up the motorway or sitting in a car park. Now, how to get the roof down with a zimmer frame in the boot!..
