So i have recently purchased 206 quicksilver for less than £100..
The catch is its a non runner, the last owner told me that the car died whilst on a journey & had to be recovered back to the home address.
The RAC bloke told the owner it was the cylinder head gasket?
But i cant understand the gasket failing across all 4 cylinders, ive got 4 working spark plugs & petrol to the rail so i would of thought that i should get some kind of explosion at at least a couple of pistons.. or some rough tickover with plenty of smoke...something at least , but it just turns over with nothing happening.
There is a slight hint of oil in the expansion tank... this is all i know.. can anyone help
