Hi guys , new here so pls bear with me ..I have a peugeot 206 1.1 look 02 plate .Have recently had a new starter motor fitted .Since getting the car back it now has several faults .1: air bag passenger light stays on .2 : On start up there is a click noise and the dials go erratic and 3: it has now started dying on me , this morning it done it four times as I tried to reverse out of a space and was hard to restart ..Any ideas ? Scared to drive it but need it for work ..Maria

I would suspect
Battery
Battery connections, starter motor connections, earth lead & connections

but who diagnosed starter motor and carried out the work for you? Surely not a Peugeot specialist?

No not peugeot. Battery has been checked, as has alternator ..someone has suggested earth strap on gearbox if that means anything .

Yes, they have been known to fracture. if it has replace it with a new one.
