After having used the car for 6 months with lower srpings (Eibach) & the original suspension it seems that I now have to change the suspension as well. So I need opinions about what kind of suspension you propose. What do you say about Koni or H&R?

There is nothing wrong with the springs. But since I've lowered the car the original suspension don't seem to work perfectly well with the Eibach springs I have installed. Of course this has to do with the terrible road quality here in Greece. Tha is why I'm thinking of upgrading the suspension. Any thaughts.....

gotcha,,well u could keep the springs and get better shocks, like koni,
ps---i take it u adjusted the torsion bar,not being funny, but 40mm drop at the front and none at the back would bugger the handling big time.

Denmark YES when you lower the front height by installing a set of springs you should also tell them to adjust (no need to install springs or anything) the rear height of the car.

If you're lowering using shorter springs shouldn't you use matched dampers? Bilstein are pretty good.

Bilstein are good BUT here in Greece there are loosing their credibility since many kits comes from countries other than germany and many of these kit (some of which are used with eibach spings) fail in about 3000-4000 km of use. I'm thinking of Koni (cheap and steel holds a good reputation)

the only problem with koni is that unless it's in stock it could be while before you get it.

i just bought my 206 cc 10days ago and i am thinking of lowering it , i bought two springs in for the front (Apex springs) but at the dealership they told me that installing them would reck my shocks and that i should get softer springs. They suggested Vogtland. Any suggestions?

Surely with lower springs you need harder shocks? :???:

He wrote softer springs as opposed to the dampers but yes, if you lower you're car you usually have to stiffen the dampers since there is now less travel and there's a good chance of bottoming out of the shox.
