Heater/Blower not working
I have just purchased a Peugot 206 Garros - 1.6, W reg (Yr 2000). The heater blower does not seem to be working. It is fitted with the electronic climate control panel, which seems to be working as the rear window heater works. I have checked all fuses, wiring, etc. and all seems fine. Can anyone help point me in the right direction to solving the problem. Thanks.

Re: Heater/Blower not working
It is usually the heater resistor Steve. But if you see my post today, it appears that some have to have the whole fan unit replaced. Some are £25, some £200+. I'd already swapped the control unit in the dash, thinking it was that but it wasn't.

Re: Heater/Blower not working
Did you get this fixed?
My heater stopped working (Was still blowing) and was dreading having to pull the entire unit out. For some reason I decided to check the air filter, and it was blocked! Purchased a new one for about £12 and after installed my heater started to work again.
Not sure why, as I thought this would have only affected the air-flow and not the heat. Not sure how fast the blower should pump out but it seems to be the same with the new filter.

Re: Heater/Blower not working
I presume you mean the pollen filter (also known as cabin filter). If air can't flow then the heater components can overheat and eventually burn out. One reason why heater resistor packs can fail.
