Rear lights letting in water
My rear lights are letting in water and my indicator is not working on one side and break light isn't working on the other. I'm thinking of just replacing the back lights with new Lexus style ones off eBay. Does anyone have a link or know of a video on how to change them? Thanks in advance emma

There is single black plastic nut behind the boot lining. Pull the lining back and you'll see the back of the light unit. Push the light unit gently from the outside to take the pressure off. Then it's one connector to each light.
At the front edge of the light unit is a plastic pin which locates into a hole in the wing so pull the light units straight back rather than twisting them or this gets snapped off.
I've replaced our CC (and hatchback) rears with the newer phase 2 lights which look so much better.
Remember to get CC lights .. the hatchback are the same from the outside but don't fit the CC. The black plastic weather shields are smaller on the CC.

Sometimes people don't get the seals back in the right place after they've renewed bulbs. Then the units leak water when it rains. Check everything is back in place perfectly when refitting. Fiddly, but worth the time to do it properly.
If a seal is damaged replace it.

Thanks for your advice. The lights I have seen don't come with bulb holders is it possible to take them off old light and put into new ones as the bulbs are working as the lights are intermittent the work and then they don't work but have water in the lights thanks

The bulb holders are the same on the Peugeot standard lights .. but I can't say for non-Pug Lexus style ones.
Also as they have been getting wet, I'd take them out and bring them indoors to dry out by the radiator. But even them you might start to have problems with rusting over time ...

Re: Rear lights letting in water
The problem with the bulb faults is to do with the bulb holders not the lenses.
The lenses may have caused it in the first place by letting water in, so bulb holders are now likely to be rusty / corroded causing poor connection to the bulbs.
