Symbol on the display screen

Post by hayescolette »

On the display screen, at the bottom (just above the radio) my car used to display how many km of fuel I had left. One day it changed, it was showing a diamond above a stick with a figure of 6600 and something. Does anyone know what this means? It has now changed from the 6600 figure and has started counting the miles I drive although the diamond symbol is still there? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My car is a 54 plate, 2.0 litre.

If you press the end of your right hand lever it will toggle through several display modes. If you want it back on miles or kms left in tank (you can choose which) just press it a few times until it gets back to that mode. I tend to leave mine on mpg.

Thank you, it was already set to kms so I didn't realise it could be changed. I shall give it ago and see if that works, thanks again.

Thanks it worked brilliantly, out of interest do you know what the options mean? As I can't find them in the handbook. Don't worry if not.

Page 32 in the handbook covers choosing kms or miles (and other variables), e.g. adjusting the clock.

Page 79 covers the displays options. Toggle through as follows:
the range
the distance travelled
the average consumption
the current consumption
the average speed
