lost power? Did the motor stop?
If you give a full description of what's happening and not happening we will try and help.
So far you have said you have got roof issues without telling us what the issues are.

Re: blasted roof boring i know
hi u sorry ok here we go ,I opened me roof all ok when it got to the middle a noise started as if it was running out of power and it stoped, it cost me £97 pound for a garage to put the roof up ,I suspected the boot sensor had broken due to the metal strip not being in place,i replaced that ,sprayed all the moving parts ,double checked all the conections and sensors all in place ,I was woundering wether it needs some sort of reset but I noticed the back shelf isn't working so maybe that is the problem what do you think ,ive spent most of my holiday trying to sort it so im back to pompey tomorrow ,have you any suggestions

Did you have the engine running when you opened the roof when it failed the first time?
Is the roof not moving at all now?
