SHRTFT1 0.0
LONGFT1 4.7

Fault code P1153
DTCFRZF P1153
Fuelsys1 OL
Fuelsys2 n/a
Load-PCT 0.0
FTC 57
SHRTFT1 0.0
LONGFT1 4.7
MAF 28.9
RPM 0
VSI (rpm) 0
Car runs fine in all aspects, just engine management warning light left on dash
Can clear the DTC code and when starting, instantly raise the rpm to above 3500rpm - and run at high revs for 3 to 5 seconds, the DTC light goes out and no codes are generated. If starting normally, i.e. no throttle, DTC light remains on, ‘antipollution fault’ is shown on display, and P1153 code is generated (double) on reader Any idea what is wrong?

Re: Fault code P1153
That's a throttle body fault. Try resetting app & TPS
Pedal position sensor programming procedure
• accelerator pedal at rest,
• switch on the ignition,
• press the accelerator pedal down fully,
• release the accelerator pedal,
• start the engine without accelerating.
Motorised throttle housing programming procedure
• switch on the ignition,
• leave the ignition on for at least 10 seconds (do not switch off the ignition
during these 10 seconds and do not press the accelerator pedal),
• switch off the ignition and leave it off for 15 seconds (the ECU records the
motorised throttle programming parameters in the EEPROM - this is the
POWER LATCH phase),
Warning: Do not switch the ignition on during these 15 seconds.
Important: If the values are not programmed:
• the system will not control the engine torque correctly as a
function of throttle opening,
The ECU will effectively not be able to precisely recognise:
• the closed and fully open positions of the throttle.
Enright on here is breaking a 206CC, if he hasn't got a throttle body, I have.

Re: Fault code P1153
Oh bu..,,'./er, its done it again, displays 'antipollution fault' and engine management light, I will try again when I get access to the car but could it be anything else ? also, am I correct in believing you only have so many 'code clears' on the ECU ? best regards Barry

Re: Fault code P1153
Try the resets again first, then I would try a different throttle body.
