throttle body cleaning on a 1.6
I plan on Cleaning my throttle body on my 1.6 cc. Should I take it of or do it on the car? And will I need a new gasket?

Just uneven idle a bit lumpy but no fault codes. I had an astra which was a common problem on them

If you have to do it, take it off ... then you won't upset any of the electronics. Haven't done a Pug one, but have cleaned an Alfa one ...
You can then liberally soak it on carb cleaner (not WD40!!) and it will be spotless.
