Hi wor pete. Welcome to the forum.
Sounds like air getting in diesel. I would take lid off fuel filter, grease seals and reassemble to see if that clears it
Cheers Col.

hi mate thanx for the advice i will try that That may well have something to do with it as now and again you can see a air bubble going from the filter down the pipe to the pump but when i told the lad who changed the filter he said it was NORMAL . IM NO MECHANIC BUT EVEN I KNOW YOU SHOULDNT HAVE AIR IN A DIESEL FUEL LINE Nice corvette mate. Will let you know the outcome Cheers wor pete

HI CAPNCOL SORRY I NEVER GOT BACK TO YOU ABOUT MY 206 19D MISSFIRE I HAVE JUST PUT UP WITH IT AS IT WASNT TO BAD BUT WE FOUND OUT WHAT IT WAS. IT LET ME DOWN A COUPLE OF TIMES LAST WEEK IN THE EARLY MORNING FROSTS [4AM]! SO I ASKED MY LAD WHO'S A MECHANIC AT OUR LOCAL PEUGEOT DEALERS IF HE WOULD CHECK OUT THE ROUTINE STUFF GLOWPLUGS ETC ETC , HE FOUND 3 GLOWPLUGS OFF SO HE RENEWED THEM AND AS HE WAS FIDDLING ABOUT HIS HAND COVERED THE EGR VALVE/PIPE AND IT STARTED TO COUGH LIKE IT DOES WHEN COLD , IT WAS ALL GUNGED UP SO HE CLEANED ALL THE CRAP OUT OF IT. IT NOW RUNS AS SWEET AS CAN BE ,SO IF THIS INFO CAN BE OF ANY HELP PLEASE PASS IT ON CHEERS WOR PETE
