Still has to be done by Peugeot authorised dealer via the downlink to Peugeot themselves. Never known one happy to do a 2nd hand unit, and how would you know if the 2nd hand is any good. Most likely turn into good money after bad (plus there are different versions of BSI with different socket configuration. You would need to be sure the 2nd hand one was exactlty the same set up as the original)
A repair is around £400 with a g'tee and if they don't have to virginise it , it will save you around £170 +vat for the reprog from Peugeot.

yep I have phoned a Peugeot dealer they have said around £580 :-( and no they cant use a second hand one, so I have a choice ether find an exact match second hand and then have to change the other bits to go with it, nightmare stuff ! one other option is to see if its possible to reroute the lights as its just the side lights and not the whole bsi that's broken thanks for replying I appreciate it :-)

yep I have read the link you posted capnol thanks and yes its a rout I dont want to go
