Hello all newbie needs help please

Hi everyone i have had my cc 2wks it is a 2001 all was fine till yesterday.
Firstly heated rear screen did not work swapped fuses then started working.Now the central locking does nothing at all,doesnt work with key fob or if you lock with the key have to lock each door individually with key,electric windows dont work hence roof wont work.The heated rear screen has stopped working,clock doesnt work and emissions light has come on.It is a 1.6 s 66k fsh all fuses look ok and battery is not the original has been checked and is fully charged.Please can anyone help me many thanks

Is the battery the correct one for the car? If someone has used as a replacement the battery type intended for the hatchback 206 then you're likely to have connection problems. Furthermore the battery capacity may be insufficient.

Hi i really dont think it is the battery everything was fine till heated rear screen stopped working

Thanks for giving such a detailed description of the fault. It does help.

If all passenger compartment fuses are ok, have a look at fuse MF04 in the engine compartment fuse box, as that protects the circuits you are having trouble with.
If they are OK try a BSI reboot. Details in "electrical problems" section of this site.

Hi thanks it was the fuse everything is working again phew. The only thing that is wrong is the radio is asking for the code every time the car is started does anyone know what this could be and thanks for all your help.

Could be another fuse. The code comes back as it's losing power once you turn off the ignition. I assume it's a Peugeot radio.

Hi, looks to me it´s a bad earth connection, maybe on the boot? hope that helps.
