Hi
I'm having trouble with my 04 plate 206cc, it sometimes won't go into gear 1st time, doesn't do it all the time just some of the time.
It's been doing it since christmas day, when it was very wet and had to go through rather flodded roads in it. don't know if that makes any difference.
If someone could help would be most grateful. :)

Might be water has got to the clutch and it's sticking. It might improve as the car is used and the heat dries the clutch plate out.

You told us last May that you'd be needing a new clutch soon. Did you ever get it done? What were the symptoms then?

We know the car is nearly 9 years old, what mileage has it done and what sort of driving use does it get - urban or rural? How many previous owners?
