GOING CRAZY WITH ROOF

Ok roof was working fine then suddenly stopped try to lower roof manually to see if i could get roof down that way got the boot up as per instructions of detailed roof manuvers but when i pulled cord to release the [arcel shelf it came away in my hand so reversed the boot to close it again but now it wont close totally and is loose and have to leave u hooks in manual till i can sort it out. I have tried all switches and these are fine even closed boot turned on ignition and released catches and pressed switch to see if this would close boot but to no avail WSould disconecting the battery and removing the plug from ecu unit help clear this as the constant beeping when driving is driving me nuts. Its ok when im in car my self playing music but not when i have a passenger lol bit anti social

Need to know what symptoms you got when the roof stopped working, such did it move at all? Beeps? Windows went down? Motor noises? What did you try when the roof stopped before manual roof down? Don't just start blindly disconnecting things else you may make matters worse.

It didnt stop just went to put it down one day and wouldnt move just loud beeping. Forgot all about it till this week tried again and still the same tested all sensors and all working fine. So read on forum to try manually moving it all was going well till i tried to release the parcel shelf and toggle snapped off so cant get any further now boot wont lock in right and get continuious beeping when driving

mine is having the exact same problems when someone car to buy the car the other day. i have just sepnt today trying to solve it but i have tried everything its doing my head in.
