Clunking noise on right full lock

Post by Patricia2608 »

Hi when car is on full lock turning right the passenger wheel makes a clunking/banging noise. I have had a new drive shaft fitted but it's still the same. Any ideas. Have you had the same problem,

All the time or over bumps?
Is it a rythmic banging or a bit random?
Cheers Col.

mine did this so had it checkout when having new tyres and not done it since garage said because of the low grip and the weight put on it the tyre was skipping back

Sounds as if your front tyre(s) is well worn. How much tread depth have you got left? As shadow says, new tyres may be the solution.
