My horn was working in fits and starts not so long ago. But now it won't work at all. Has anyone got any suggestions on what could be wrong?
My MOT is due soon and i need to get it fixed before then.
Thanks...

Re: Horn has stopped working
check the connector block for corrosion in the wiring at the horn

Re: Horn has stopped working
Mine did exactly the same
I checked all the fuses/wires and connectors, nothing wrong at all
Turned out it was actually the horn itself it was all rusted up inside
Had to get a new one from my local car spares place and it cost a wopping £7.50

Re: Horn has stopped working
Turn your lights to dim or manually on and attempt to use your horn. A faulty horn is an indication of a faulty comms 2000 unit. You may also find that when indicating it seems to cancel and your headlights come on.
Very costly fix if it is the comms unit

Re: Horn has stopped working
I agree with fatboyslim - check the most obvious first. If the horn has stopped working check the horn itself.
I'd disconnect the wiring and remove the horn from the car. Then test it by putting 12 volts through it - if it doesn't sound then the horn is u/s.

Re: Horn has stopped working
It seems to be a common fault on 206's in general
Because the horn is mounted horizontally any water doesn't just run off
it stays on the horn and seeps through to the inside and rusts up the guts
which makes it stop working
