Hi,
The only problem I can find with my new car is the Automatic Air Conditioning display (the one with the picture of a car in it) seems to be very dim, I can see the car and graphics but they are all as if a backlight isn't on. Can anyone tell me where the bulb for this is located? Behind the display I guess, can you get to it with the radio out?
Also what sort of bulb would I need?
Thanks
Ed

Re: Automatic Air Conditioning display
I've sorted this out.
To get at the bulbs for the automatic air conditioning display until, you need to remove the centre console trim by popping out the surround for the clock. Remove the raido and then unscrew the screws each side of the clock which are exposed. The centre console then just snaps out easily with a light tug.
Once this is done, four screws for the air conditioning display are exposed, undo each other these and release the two clips at the bottom of the unit to push it back into the void behind, you can then turn it around and pass it out of it's own hole.
Now you can get to the back of the unit, there are three little black bulb holders screwed in, remove each one and replace as required. Now, if you don't know which bulb is blown, unscrew the clock and look at the four bulbs in that, remove each bulb in the row and plug in each of the ones from the air con display, it's easy to see if they light up.
I went to a Peugeot garage and they had spare bulbs to buy and even sockets (I bought 5 bulbs and 2 sockets for £8) if you loose one or two. Put in your replacements, screw it all back together in revese and your done. In total this takes about 20 minutes.
I should have taken pictures but I will do the next time I need to take the centre console out.

Re: Automatic Air Conditioning display
Sorry you had no replies, not all of us have the air-con display, but well done for figuring it out and thanks for posting how you did it here.

Well done. Our car has only the basic air-con so I am not familiar with your layout. Your contribution will be very useful for others no doubt, thank you.

Re: Automatic Air Conditioning display
Not a problem, I've got a list of things to tackle from replacing dash bulbs to oil changes and I'm aiming to document each one when I do them so others can give these things a go.

I'm sure that would be very useful for other owners, thanks.
