Hi all
My mum has a 206cc 2ltr it has the engine light on and pollution screen.
I sent her my code reader and it has thrown up
P0190 fuel trim
P0135 O2 censor heater circuit
P0130 O2 sensor circuit
Any one else have these issues and is it just a straight O2 sensor change needed?
Cheers Ben

Re: Lambda error codes
Probably, but which one?
There's a pre-cat and post-cat Lambda ... they are different in that the cables are different lengths (and this is part of how they work! But you could get the Bosch Universal LS615 as the actual sensor is the same.)
Also check there are no holes in the exhaust ... since we replaced ours, no more error codes or engine management light
... oops probably jinxed it now ...
Now we know 206's have a thing about plugs and the best are Bosch, but us it the same with lambda's?? I know my Alfa needs a bosch lambda, but I couldn't find a make on the CC's when I took them out to swap the exhaust. Should they be Bosch or will NGK's work?

Re: Lambda error codes
With those codes, check the lambda plugs first. You can check which sensor by measuring continuity of the 2 wires that are the same colour eg 2 whites. Measure into the sensor and you should see a short circuit (continuity) if not, that is likely to be the faulty sensor.

Re: Lambda error codes
Oh! That's a problem then
The first one is screwed into the exhaust by the exhaust manifold down pipe (easy to see, got a cable coming out of it) second is after the cat and looks the same as the first. The cat is the big silencer looking object at the beginning of the pipe.
I'm sure if you google lambda or O2 you will find a picture. They are all much of a muchness.

Re: Lambda error codes
Not sure, but the connection plugs are only about 8"-10" away on end of cables so should be easy to follow.
