A few months ago I had a reconditioned axle fitted as the wheel bearing was literally in peices!!!
anyway, all is well with that, but after a few thousand miles I get what can only be described as a "high pitched metallic ding" when going over anything higher than 2 inches or making a hard right turn.
Im told that the torsion bars need adjusting as the axle has now "bedded in" - though how true that is i dont know.
Can anyone shed some light on it - purrrleeesss!!

Re: Rear Torsion Bar Adjustment
Doesn't sound right to me ... sounds more like they haven't tightened something .. but I'll ask around another forum ...

Re: Rear Torsion Bar Adjustment
Assuming that they fitted the new axle correctly, three responses I've had on another site are suggesting the anti-roll bar is knocking.
