Hi Capncol
It was here, in sunny Lancashire!
I went to Heysham, near Morcambe and had a lovely afternoon poking around in rockpools, I even managed to catch a small crab!!

Re: Stainless Steel Exhaust!
Hi Sal
I got my car back this morning but I'm not entirely happy with it. The repair itself looks fine and my refurbished alloys look great but the window doesn't seem to go up fully in the corner nearest the wing mirror which I didn't notice when they delivered it. It's only a tiny gap but water is getting in (the mat is wet through) and I've just been on the motorway and it's whistling loudly. It looks like the door is slightly out of alignment and when you open the door from inside, the handle doesn't flip back and stays stuck out. I rang them this morning and am taking it back on Friday as I have a day off work. I've just taken a few photographs to email to them. Nothing ever runs smoothly!
I've missed driving round topless on two sunny weekends now and the rest of the week is forecast bad.
I bet you can't wait to get your exhaust fitted. Which tailpipe have you chosen? I kept mine very similar to the original but obviously more beefy.
Well, I think I'm going to have a glass of wine now as I'm feeling a bit fed up!
Bye for now,
Karen

Re: Stainless Steel Exhaust!
Hi Sal
You may be as well having a look on the Powerflow website at tailpipes, just in case they haven't got much of a selection to choose from. I ordered mine in advance as they didn't have a very large collection at the garage (other than huge boy racer rocket launcher types!)
I'm updating my 'Not amused!' post with some pics of my newly repaired car (I'm a happy bunny now!)
Good luck with the MOT x

Re: Stainless Steel Exhaust!
Hi Karen
, Sorry for the delay answering you. Had my car MOTd and a Level 1 service at my local peugeot dealership, it sailed through, and without my knowledge they altered the exhaust fittings and tightened a few things up at no extra charge
It is now running better than ever and I didn't bother having the exhaust done in the end, she sounds and runs perfectly
Am a well happy bunny and kept my £400 (for now
anyway) Hope all is well with you and you are enjoying this gorgeous weather
Luv Sal x

Re: Stainless Steel Exhaust!
Hi Sal
Good news about your £400 saving, at least you know your options for the future.
Loved the days of sunshine and topless driving but it seems a distant memory now. Rain all yesterday and cool and dull today, just in time for the bank holiday weekend!
I'm in a team doing a dog handling display at Great Harwood Show on Monday and have to squeeze an ex-prison service guard dog into the back of my car. Deiter, my own German Shepherd goes in with no problem but I haven't tried Nero yet so have no idea what he'll make of it, he's used to vans and Land Rovers - should be interesting!
Enjoy the long weekend.

Re: Stainless Steel Exhaust!
Hi Karen How did the dog handling go? This weather is total
be a miracle if we can ever get the roof down! Had to buy a couple new tyres the other day for the front but otherwise all is well (touch wood). Went to Norfolk last weekend great fun, but had to take hubbies 308 as he gets 60mpg and the weather was iffy
- at least the rain kept away not like this weekend. Anyway hope all is well with you and Summer is on its way!
Luv Sal x
