Locking wheel nut removal??

Post by williamraff »

Hi folks, new to the forum having just purchased the wife a 206cc. The problem is that the locking wheel nut removal tool will only remove three of the nuts it just jumps out of the other.

The tool has 5T marked on the top of it - does anyone know if this is sufficient to get a replacement from Peugeot?

Failing this is there anyone in the leeds / Bradford / Harrogate area who might be able to assist or know someone who can?

I have tried hitting a smaller diameter socket over the stud but to no effect.

Thanks,Will :)

If it works on the other three, then it's probably the locking nut not the key ...

It it the standard pug one with four pins and the lock nut has a small circular end? You might be hard pressed to find a removal tool unless a tyre fitter can help. It might loosen it enough using the key and a air gun.
