Fantastic news on the repair, really pleased for you  I don't know what I would have done if that had happened to me. I'd have been inconsolable and my husband would have had to buy me something really nice to cheer me up ;)

Bit of an update on my car:

I got it delivered back to me on Tuesday morning but on closer inspection during my lunch hour from work I found several problems. The window didn't quite go up enough, creating a gap which water could (and did) come through, the door seemed out of alignment, the internal door handle didn't spring back when I'd opened the door to get out so that the door bounced back open when I tried to close it and there was a worrying 'crack' noise when I put my left lock on when manouvering. Also, I discovered that my headlight wasn't working and when I looked under the bonnet, they hadn't connected it back up and the wire was dangling millimetres from my cambelt!

I had new tyres put on a few weeks ago and had it laser aligned so asked them to make sure it was done again before it was returned to me (they told me that it had been done). When I spoke to the place I bought the tyres from (Equipe in Darwen), they said that if I took it in, they'd do it again for me free of charge. I took it before I went back to Karl Vella and it was way out! I mentioned the 'crack' when turning my wheel and they found that the inside of the wheel arch hadn't been clipped back on and was catching on my wheel and suspension.

Equipe have been superb and I'd recommend them to anybody, they are so friendly and helpful and they are very competitive on tyre prices. They have around 4 branches in the Lancashire area, Bolton being one.

I took it back to the body repair company yesterday (Karl Vella in Preston) with a list and they put it all right while I waited.

I was perfectly happy with the actual repairs but not the way they had put my car back together, it was so shoddy. I had my concerns about my car going there but I didn't have a choice with it being though my insurance.

Anyway, here are a few pics of my shiny new car - me and hubby have just spent a couple of hours washing and polishing it (I've hurt my wrist so needed assistance!):

Here are my newly refurbished wheels (which I paid extra for as they were already doing one of them):

And finally, one VERY happy bunny!!!
