Shhh!! Don't tell anyone. It's a 1.6 206 with a Corvette body. But keep it to yourself!
You will struggle if it's a single garage.
You will need to remove the wheel and undo the large nut in cenre of hub. This holds driveshaft to hub. Undo & remove the "pinchbolt" that holds the ball joint together on the lower wishbone assembly.
Seperate the balljoint and swing the strut assembly off of the driveshaft and to the rear (helps to have steering on l/h lock)
This exposes the driveshaft.
Watch you dont strain the brake hose. If you haven't got enough room, drop the caliper off. You can tie the strut back using a length of rope from the back wheel.
You now have a clear shot at the CV joint. Can't remember if the ring will go over from the front or whether you need to split the CV and fit from rear. remove remains of old ring by breaking it with a cold chisel. Put new ring in oven for a couple of mins till too hot to touch (so have some rigger type gloves ready) and install quickly. It will shrink to fit as it cools.
While you are at this stage check the CV joint gaiter and ball joint boot for splits / perishing and renew as need be.

skinned several knuckles, lol....
Have been busy so put on back burner - went to try today but need a large socket for the centre nut - any idea of the diameter of nut looks about 34-35mm?
well task completed, blimey that is hard work working from a jack; but managed it and hope the other one lasts as long as we have car! Had to use a trolley jack to finally line up the wheel assembly to the lower wishbone ball joint - no easy task i can tell you. Thanks for all the advice
