206cc misfire from cold

Help! Bought 206cc se had cold start misfire with anti polution fault coming up with engine light coming on. Tried everything i think including coil packs, injectors, new spark plugs and even new oil pump but still think possibly oil pressure related any help greatly apreciated :(

Have you code read it and carried out compression test?
Does misfire clear when warm?

(ps) Why do you think oil pressure related??

Did compression check and checked codes. Oil pressure was sky high when tested with old oil pump thought it was oil pressure relief valve not working and affecting hydrolic tappets stopping valves closing so put new oil pump in but not changed :(

It was a common problem with the 2.0 engine.

If you search on the forum for "tappets" you'll find plenty of other threads. The cure is usually to replace the tappets with those for the 1.8 engine.
