Re: Radio
I don't get that problem with mine. What happens is that sometimes it just won't play the CD at all - sometimes when I've just got into the car and started it, and sometimes it just stops after 4 or 5 tracks on a CD. When the CD is ejected it usually feels hot! I've also lost all my saved stations a couple of times, and experienced crackling noises like radio interference when playing CDs. I've tried using a cleaning disc, I've checked connections and asked the dealer to have a look at it when the car was in for a service - they couldn't find anything wrong. Yesterday I drove for about 4 hours with the roof down and the Clarion worked perfectly.
People who don't like cats were probably mice in an earlier life.

mine did this and if you take the player out and carefully dissassemble it you will find that a thin clear plastic cover on the underside is broken (1 securing lug breaks off). I fixed mine using a tower cable clip to refix the cover securely therby stopping the cogs from slipping. A bodge I know......................but it works a treat!!
Clarion do a warranted repair for £79. \these radios are coded in the ECU and are part of the CAN bus system.
