Hi People;
I now find myself in posession of a 206cc loan car for the next six months since the AL4$ transmission on the citroen collapsed.
My first port of call is to you guys so I can figure out the roof dramas......
Not much use having a convertible on the Gold Coast in Queensland if the roof won't go down.
I got this car for a friend of mine , new a number of years ago, and she has been kind enough to lend it too me.
The aussie frogs website has been great for me with the cits; I'm sure this will be a great club too.

Welcome to the forum.

Many problems with the roof seem to be self-inflicted by owners who don't read the manual thoroughly and who don't follow the instructions to the letter. Make sure you read the owners manual front to back.

Ours has never gone wrong but it is probably the most cossetted car ever in terms of the roof operation. Always have the engine running, never switch off the ignition, and don't do anything else while the roof is going up or coming down.

Anyway, surely it'll only be a short while until your own car is fixed? Don't break your good friend's in the meantime.
