HI all,I am a new member hoping for some advice. I have a 53 plate 206cc with a 1.6 petrol engine and hydraulic clutch. Gearbox is completely knackered .Can anybody please tell me which gearbox I need as a replacement,where to try for one, and rough
price for second hand.Many thanks, Roy.

A couple of sellers on Ebay do 206 gearboxes. This is one and here's another. When I enquired with the Warrington based one, they said they would charge £150 plus VAT for fitting. If you contact them they are very helpful and will tell you what type you need.

just tell them your car etc and its the 1.6 nfu engine with a hydrolic clutch

to update re gear box repairs, removed gearbox and took it to Tameside Transmissions in Droylesdon
Greater Manchester. Complete rebuild and ready next day, £265 + vat. Great service.!!

good deal mine cost just over 800 including new casing refurbishment removal painting and fitting and oil etc.
