Hi,
I have recently bought a 206 cc 2.0 year 2002, and like I have done to every card that I have owned I was planning to change the spark plug wires (after 80.000 kms is a big improvement in any car) but I can not find any reference to it. My reference has been always Magnecor but I saw that they don't make cables for this car.
This sort of change improves the ignition because instead of the standard cables they have higher conductivity (1st quality cupper and bigger diameter).
Has anyone done it or could give me any reference about a place where I could buy it?
Any recommendation about a website to buy spare parts for our cars?
cu

Re: spark plug wires
2.0 engine has coil packs ... it's the large metal object sitting on top of the plugs and held down with three small screws.
So you're right ... there are no spark plugs cables ... and it's a lot more expensive when the coil packs go wrong! It's something a lot of manufacturers have now, so if you are buying cars with leads, you are buying very old engine technology.
Have you changed the plugs yet? I swapped out ours recently after 55000 miles which is just over 80000K and fitted Super 4s and that made a big difference over the Peugeot branded items in there ...
