Front N/S Fog Lamp

Front N/S Fog Lamp

Hi Everyone
My front n/s foglamp has filled with water, is it easy to change, any help appreciated. Steve

Hi Steve,

Undo the screws securing the front section of the wheel arch liner to the base of the bumper. Remove the fasteners securing the liner section to the body then manoeuvre the front section of the liner out from underneath the wing.
Disconnect the wiring connector from the foglight.
As it is the lefthand one that you are doing, you may wish to remove the air cleaner housing intake duct to improve access to the light unit.
Undo the lower retaining screw then free the foglight unit and remove it from the bumper.
Refitting is the reverse of removal. If necessary adjust the foglight aim using the adjuster on the rear of the light unit.

Replacement units are about £20 on eBay.

Thanks very much, your help is greatly appreciated, I have looked up the part on ebay and notice they quote Hi-line or Low-line, do you know which one my 53 reg 1.6 allure is ? many thanks again.
