Did you know your car is part-supercar - AGAIN?

Post by 52nd of February »

2 days ago, BOTH my headlights blew, within 2 hours of each other! So I took the car to a European car specialist who now works from home, and has worked on some VERY fancy cars in his time. (He also stopped my roof from squeaking!!! Yay!!!)

As part of the check, he maintained the roof mechanism. Turns out Ferrari use the exact same one. Well there you go. Your car is part Ferrari. :D
And those of you with a tiptronic gearbox - that one comes from Porsche. Part-Peugeot, part-Ferrari, part-Porsche. Your move, Colt CZC!

hehe I only know trivial bits of info, all I know about the engine comes from experience I've had with my own car :P

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I'd rip up any question on the differences between pre-04 models and the facelifted version that came in that year :P - I can tell if it's an MY01/2/2.5/3 or an MY04/5/6/7 from a mile off :P

It reminds me of when I was an impoverished student and drove an awful Citroen Visa Club! :( It only had one windscreen wiper. When I needed a new wiper blade I went to a service station and bought a new one. On the wrapping it said:

This part fits the following cars:
- Citroen Visa Club
- Porsche 944 Turbo

:D

People who don't like cats were probably mice in an earlier life.

Yep headlights, taillights, bumpers, grille, exhaust and MY04's have roof strips and a different seal between the roof and windscreen
