Hi all, new to the forum and was wondering if anyone can help:scratch:,
I have a 1600 petrol 16 valve glx, but it seems like it has a missfire when driven, its is showing no faults when connected up to the diagnostic wizardry. So I thought it might be a fuel problem, so changed the fuel filter, but it still plays up just the same.
Oh and it has had a new ignition pack fitted, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated
Thanks Bob.

Sounds like mis-fires are a common problem on the 206!

I think the first check and possibly the easiest would be the lambda sensors. I know some guys on here have checked their own, but I'm a mechanical numpty and would get them checked by a mechanic. Although it's fairly easy, the car may need to go up on a ramp.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration.

How long have the spark plugs been in? Have you tried replacing them?
