my 206cc has died

Hi, can anyone help me me. My 206 has died on me. Problem first occured yesterday, couldn't open car using key pad. Opened door manually alarm went off but car started fine, although all my settings on the dash ie; date, time etc needed to be reset. Thought it was just the battery needing to be replaced in my key pad(which i did), then thought no more about it. Today drove to the gym (10 minute journey) came out an hour later couldn't get into my car again only this time when i tried to start the car it was as dead as a dodo. Had battery tested which was fine, recovery guy thinks it may be eletrical but as it's a Sunday can't get it into a garage until Monday. Has anyone had similar problem, if so what was diagnosis...Please help fellow 206cc lovers.

Battery might be fine but I'd check for a loose connection or a cracked lead terminal, either battery leads or an earth lead. I'd slacken then off slightly, wriggle them, then tighten them up again, one by one. Make sure there's no corrosion there. Any cracks - replace the lead.

Thanks Grandadmonkey, got a mobile peugeot specialist coming out to look at it today so i'll post out come later.

Hi all just a note to say my car is now fine, one £100 battery later which didn't solve the problem but think my battery was on the way out after all the snow and ice, anyway fault turned out to be a loose lead that connects to the fuse box under the bonnet. lead is bolted on but bolt had come loose and connection wasn't being made. Hope this helps anyone with the similar car problem.
