Electrical problem
2004 Peugeot 206 Manual 16500 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
Hi there
my dashboard on my 206 has become faulty since last Monday. The speedo, digital mileage, and petrol guage keeps going off and flying down to the bottom. The digital clock has also gone off and re set itself to the wrong time. Lastly the battery went flat last Friday and had to get the car jump started and it has been fine starting since, but dashboard still playing up. The radio, fan/heater, wipers and lights all work fine excepts for the back window heater which also stopped working same time last week. Does anyone have any advice on what it could possibly be? Could it be a faulty battery or is it more likely to be an electrical fault?
Can anyone shed some light please.....
Dashboard going nuts...help!

I think that at 5 years old and with relatively little regular use your car needs a brand new battery. That should cure the symptoms your car is exhibiting. I'd get the genuine one from Peugeot which is the right size and should be a perfect fit. Some others are not so tall and need packing up with a suitable piece of wood.
