Rattily Roof!

Addicted to this web site now its great!

Had my cc 6 months and always had a rattle coming from the back seat/boot area when I drive over even the smallest bump in the road. Thought it was normal, the rattle only occurs when the roof is up, when the sun's shining and roof is down I'm rattle free. Just assumed all cc's where rattily, and weight from the roof being down solved it. Any ideas?? p.s its not the squeak you get from the roof clips, I have that sometimes this is a definate rattle!

check the bootlid catch is tight. We had the same problem and found that the catch needed tightening.

Thanks Hayley, did what you said and it worked! No more rattle!!!! Didn't even notice the boot latch was loose. Read reviews before I bought my cc and it mentioned they were a bit rattily so have been driving around for 6 months thinking my rattle was quite normal.
