hi all ..
i often buy damaged cars to repair and sell on but after my clio 1.2 was passed on the motorway by a dewoo matiz i thought it was deffo time for it to go and lucky enought i had the chance to buy a 206 2.0td hdi with the full GTi spec so i thought sod it im gonna have it as the power did not seem any differant to my astra mk4 2.0 sri i not long sold.
at the minute its still got a little sill damage below where the front n/s wing meets the sill but hey i'll get that sorted after Xmas as i work in a scrap yard so i can get the sill and cut it and fit it myself but im just wondering about a few little things.
1) whats the most common problems with the Hdi as we only seen to sell them for the citrone picasso as there the same engine.
2) what oil is best for the engine as im gonna give it a full service.
3) ive seen these chip things on E-bay that say it can take it from 90 bhp to 110 but do they work or are they just a waist of time or damage the engine.
i hope i dont seem a pain in the ass as this is my first post.
many thanks ... cartoon~head

Welcome to the forum.
I'm not familiar with the 2.0 TD HDI engine. I don't think it has been fitted to the 206cc.
Maybe someone on here may know though so you could be lucky.
