Hey girls and guys, I've just swapped my little Peugeot 107 for a 206cc Allure, 2L Aegean Blue and I LOVE it!! =]
Had it a week now, spent a few weeks looking around. It has just 29000 miles on the clock, on a 53 reg.
I'm from Wolverhampton in the Midlands, 22 years young and I have to say I am completely and utterly in love with this beast! I never thought I would find love for another car once my mini left me (the British species) but I have, and WOW!

A few small things really...I have a very noisy gearbox, would describe the noise as "clunky" mainly when shifting into 2nd 4th and reverse? Is this normal?

Another thing, I dont have a user maual and would really like to get hold of one, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Also my drivers side visor mirror is smashed, where can I get a replacement?

Thank you for taking the time to read this and I will look forward to your replies.

Welcome to the forum Stace,
User manuals should be available from a Peugeot dealer, sometimes on eBay, or download here:

If the box is really clunky is the clutch disengaging fully? We have a 1.6 but the gearbox is not noisy at all and quite smooth.

I don't know if the mirror you are talking about is unique to cc's, but I'd take a visit to my local scrap yard and see if a 206 hatchback visor mirror would do the job.

Thanks for the reply Ron.
I bought my cc from a dealer, do you think they should of provided me with a manual?
The cluch is disengaging fully yes, the problem seems to be dying down a little....could it be because the car had been standing for a while maybe??
I will check out the local scrap yards then, see if they have any 206's in stock.

Thanks again for your reply

Not if it didn't come with the car when they took it in part exchange, but I would have expected them to tell me the manual was missing. Why not tell them it is missing and see what they say.

Perhaps, but keep a check on it. You might just be getting used to it! I'd report it to the selling dealer and see what they say. A new gearbox or bearing would be expensive if it on the way out.
